As an Infusionsoft Support Specialist, I know how much work goes into creating Infusionsoft emails. You want your readers to go to your website – so you include links that direct them to go visit your site.
How do you know though that they are clicking the links in your Infusionsoft emails?
In my last Infusionsoft post “Psssst… The best way to name your Infusionsoft Tags and Campaigns”, I discussed the importance of having a consistent and concise naming convention for your tags. For this post, I want to discuss the behavior tag.
As an Infusionsoft Support Specialist, I use the behavior tag quite frequently to test whether readers are clicking the links in the emails I send out.

How to Send Emails Based on Your Contacts Time Zone in Infusionsoft
The highest open rates for emails occur in the morning. However, if you send out an email based on a time zone in America, it means that your readers in Australia and Asia will receive it in the night time. Are you aware of Infusionsoft’s new feature that they have recently added – the ability to send out emails to your list based on your contacts time zone in Infusionsoft? This is a great new option.
Sending Emails Based on Your Contacts Time Zone in Infusionsoft
Here’s how it works.
- Go to Email & Broadcasts and select get started.
- Choose how you are going to create your email: Gallery, Previously Sent, Templates or Draft.
- Set up your email.
- When complete choose your recipients.
- Click schedule and send.
- Select schedule to send later.
- Enter the date and time to send out the email.
- Select “Use Contact Time Zone”.
Your email will now be sent out at the time you want based on the time zone of the reader.

Psssst… The best way to name your Infusionsoft Tags and Campaigns
Why do you need to set up a process with naming your Infusionsoft tags?
Throughout your journey with Infusionsoft you will be creating numerous campaigns and will require many tags and emails. At some point you will want to reference historic campaigns and emails and you will want to sort through different tags to find names of SPECIFIC contacts that were part of a program you created. To make it easier for you, I recommend that you create a consistent and concise naming convention that follows a specific order.
The below is an example for how to create a naming process for your product and event offers. I suggest that you have 5 sections to the name. One section will be the category and the other 4 will be in the Infusionsoft tag itself.
